Novartis AG (2004). XOMA and Novartis have a worldwide, multi-product, cost and profit sharing collaborative agreement for the development and commercialization of antibody products for the treatment of cancer. This agreement was initially between XOMA and Chiron, but transferred to Novartis in April 2006, upon the acquisition of Chiron by Novartis. The lead product candidate in this collaboration is HCD122 (formerly known as CHIR-12.12), a fully human, antagonistic antibody that targets the CD40 antigen and is in phase I clinical trials.

Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc (2005). XOMA and Lexicon entered into a worldwide, target exclusive, cost and profit sharing collaboration for the discovery, development and commercialization of therapeutic antibodies. This collaboration combines Lexicon’s target discovery and biotherapeutics capabilities with XOMA’s antibody discovery, development and manufacturing expertise.
