XOMA has the experience and know-how for cell line development using either mammalian or microbial expression (pdf file) systems with proprietary expression vectors and proprietary serum-free / animal product-free medium.  During the early stages of development, XOMA utilizes small scale bioreactors to confirm growth and productivity prior to cell banking.
