XOMA’s technologies, whether internally developed or obtained through our strategic cross-licensing agreements, enable us and our partners to advance monoclonal antibody projects more efficiently through development than could be achieved otherwise.

Our innovations include bacterial cell expression technology, which provides efficient, high-level expression of antibodies in bacteria, and our Human Engineering™ (HE™) technology, a method for humanizing non-human antibodies with preserved antigen binding, structure and function.

In addition, we have access to a wide range of human antibody phage display libraries that are no longer commercially available to others, as well as XOMA proprietary libraries.
