Overview
XOMA’s technology and expertise drive antibody discovery and development across the life science industry.
Building on our success and utilizing our expertise in therapeutic antibodies, and strong intellectual property position, XOMA has established long-term alliances with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
We maximize the value of our alliances – both product collaborations and technology licensing agreements - to generate revenues that support our goal of creating life-changing therapies.
Our partners include world-class pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies like Novartis AG, Schering-Plough Research Institute and Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited. In addition to generating revenue and providing access to our partners’ drug targets, these relationships support ongoing development of our product pipeline.
XOMA licenses BCE technology to partners including Genentech, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Biogen Idec, Eli Lilly and Co., and Pfizer.
In August 2007, Pfizer licensed our BCE technology in exchange for a cash payment of $30 million and milestone, royalty and other fees on future sales of all products subject to the license, including products already in late-stage development.
